2 men arrested after shots fired at Lunenburg County home: N.S. RCMP

Police say two men are facing charges after shots were fired at a home in Nova Scotia’s Lunenburg County during two separate incidents. The RCMP responded to a report that several shots had been fired into a home on Highway 208 in Nineveh around 11:50 p.m. Sunday. No one was injured. Police say they identified a vehicle associated with the incident. Officers then pulled vehicle over on the way to the scene. Police say they arrested two men in the vehicle and seized a rifle.

Traffic delays expected in Charlottetown for paramedic funeral processions

The funerals for two paramedics who died in an ambulance crash near the Confederation Bridge will be held in Charlottetown on Friday and traffic delays are expected. ‘Heated Rivalry’ actor cast in Netflix adaptation of ‘This Summer Will Be Different’ Original

Montreal-born actor Sophie Nélisse has been cast as Lucy in the 10-episode series. “Follow Lucy’s sun-soaked romance on Prince Edward Island as she falls for her best friend’s brother,” reads Thursday’s announcement from Netflix.
