Nate Wolf Meta Platforms' lofty artificial-intelligence investments are vexing investors, but the market got some early signs of the company's AI progress on Thursday. Meta wants to double its overall computing capacity to 14 gigawatts in 2027 from seven this year, Reuters reported Thursday, citing an internal memo. As if that weren't enough, the company also plans to begin producing its first-ever AI chip starting in September, with design help from Broadcom, the memo said.
