New Adventures nominated for the National Dance Awards

We are thrilled to announce that New Adventures has received five nominations for the National Dance Awards, including Outstanding Company. We are so proud that three of our dancers have also received nominations. Paris Fitzpatrick, who is currently touring internationally with the company of Romeo and Juliet, is nominated for Best Male Dancer and Outstanding Male Dancer (Modern) for his performance of Romeo.

Matthew Bourne has been named the inaugural artistic honouree for Center Theatre Group: The Gala 2024 which will take place on 28 April 2024 in Los Angeles. Center Theatre Group has been Matthew's American home since 1997, when his company presented the US premiere of Swan Lake at the Ahmanson Theatre. Matthew Bourne's Romeo and Juliet is now playing at the Ahmanson Theatre until 25 February 2024.

Gutsy Ireland fall narrowly short to Switzerland in Euro pre-qualifier

IRELAND’S SENIOR MEN’S team pushed Switzerland to their limit, but ultimately fell to 83-72 defeat in their FIBA EuroBasket 2025 Pre-Qualifiers game in Fribourg. A strong second quarter got Mark Keenan’s side within four points of their opponents by half-time. They trailed by the same score with a minute to go in the contest too, but couldn’t grab their second away win of the campaign. It’s a defeat which head coach Keenan said had left the squad “very deflated” at the missed opportunity.
