Nathan Sing is an independent journalist, writer, filmmaker, and the creator of through food.

Nathan has reported across Canada and internationally on how fame influences culture and concentrates power, and the ways food connects us to nourishment and to one another. He is also an Adjunct Professor at UBC’s School of Journalism, Writing, and Media, where he co-teaches a journalism course exploring how platforms, metrics and parasocial relationships shape what we see and trust.
