In vivo CRISPR screening identifies metastasis suppressors in triple-negative breast cancer
Abstract Metastatic cancer remains the leading cause of cancer-related mortality, yet tumor cell–intrinsic mechanisms restraining metastatic dissemination remain incompletely defined. Here, we perform an unbiased in vivo genome-wide CRISPR/Cas9 loss-of-function screen in a breast cancer xenograft model to identify regulators of metastatic progression.

Dual‐Functional Additive Regulating Zn2+ Solvation Structure and (002) Plane‐Oriented Deposition for Dendrite‐Free Zn Anodes
1 Introduction In recent years, aqueous zinc ion batteries (AZIBs) have emerged as a highly promising candidate system for large-scale energy storage due to their high theoretical specific capacity (820 mAh g−1), low redox potential (−0.76 V vs standard hydrogen electrode), and abundant zinc metal resources.[1, 2] In addition, the distinctive advantages of the aqueous electrolyte, including its safety and non-toxicity, environmental friendliness, low cost, and excellent ionic conductivity,...

Genome-wide in vivo CRISPR screen identifies TGFβ3 as actionable biomarker of palbociclib resistance in triple negative breast cancer - Molecular Cancer
This study used a genome-wide CRISPR/Cas9 loss-of-function screen to reveal markers of sensitivity and resistance to palbociclib in a CDK4/6 inhibitor-sensitive TNBC model. SUM159PT TNBC cells were infected with a genome-wide CRISPR library and transplanted into NSG mice. Palbociclib was administered to mice as tumors grew, and tumors were extracted and sequenced. Biological and technical replicates were measured.

Metal-Organic Frameworks on Versatile Substrates
Metal-Organic Frameworks on Versatile Substrates Metal-organic frameworks' (MOFs) potential commercial uses are intriguing. One of the existing challenges is that many sophisticated nanotechnology applications require the deposition of as-obtained MOF powder on solid substrates. It is generally accepted that combining pure MOFs with substrate materials to produce MOF-based composite membranes can mitigate the drawbacks of pure MOFs while preserving their original benefits.

The microRNA pathway core genes are indispensable for development and reproduction in the brown planthopper, Nilaparvata lugens
Abstract MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are small single-stranded non-coding RNAs involved in a variety of cellular events by regulating gene expression at the post-transcriptional level. Several core genes in miRNA biogenesis have been reported to participate in a wide range of physiological events, in some insect species. However, the functional significance of miRNA pathway core genes in Nilaparvata lugens remains unknown.
