2013 - Political Enterprise Reporting

The Top of the Rockies is a regional journalism contest hosted by the Society of Professional Journalists Colorado Pro Chapter. "Anger Spurs Action," was awarded first place for Political Enterprise Reporting in Division A. The story retraces the steps that led to one of the most historic moments at the Colorado General Assembly and how one community planned to hold Republican leaders accountable.
