In March of 2019, I started my first full-time job as a sports editor for 22nd Century Media, located in Chicago's North Shore. Unfortunately 13 months after I began the job, the company ceased operations due to the coronavirus. I am currently working on staying sharp and ready to apply for jobs when sports return.

I have experience as an editor, a freelancer, a photographer and more. I love being around sports and am eager to get back into the sports journalism industry once games return

Kate Bossert (Needham, Mass.) is easy to spot when the University of Vermont takes the field. At 5-foot-11, the junior is one of the tallest members of the team, and the tallest forward by four inches. Her parents, Suzanne and Ellen, were basketball stars in college, suggesting height runs in the family. According to Kate, she wasn’t always the tallest on the pitch. "I used to be kind of short, actually," Bossert said. "I hit seventh grade and I just shot up five inches.
