After a beautiful Monday with plenty of sunshine and highs in the middle 80s to near 90°, the Ozarks will enjoy another quiet day before weather changes midweek. Tuesday will bring mostly sunny skies with a southerly breeze. Morning lows will dip to the middle and upper 60s, making for a pleasant start to the day. That southerly breeze will help temperatures climb back to the upper 80s and lower 90s. Back into the 90s for many Tuesday However, the calm won’t last long.

A cold front pushing through the region Friday evening is bringing a severe weather threat to the eastern Ozarks, but the good news is the storms will clear out quickly, leaving behind a refreshing stretch of weather to kick off August. Tonight’s Severe Weather Threat A tornado watch remains in effect for the eastern Ozarks until 11 p.m. The National Weather Service has issued a Level 1 to 2 risk for some storms to become strong to severe.
