A South African specialist has launched an homage to the Ford GT40, timed to commemorate 60 years of the Blue Oval’s famous 1-2-3 finish at Le Mans in 1966. Cape Advanced Vehicles has been building “GT40-inspired” cars for more than 25 years, delivering 250 vehicles in that time, but its new GT MkII is its most ambitious project to date.
