What was your first job as a journalist?
I wrote travel articles and did user research for Travel Maps Australia on a year backpacking around the world back in 1999!
Have you ever used a typewriter?
Yep! I learned how to use a word processor and do shorthand at 18

To simplify complex info and tell good stories to build a more compassionate world

MacBook Air, iPhone, notebook and pen!

In a nutshell, I love a good story. To share personal stories and connect people who can help each other out. To hold the powerful to account
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
My high school didn't have one! I wrote film reviews for my university mag, X-Campus, and did work experience at the Cambridge Evening News.

An invitation to visit Lugano to meet the founder of a private fertility clinic to hear his thoughts on fertility
What's the worst pitch you ever got?
I get emails daily for beats I don't cover - beauty products etc and very long emails
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
Running and walking in the sunshine / coast / countryside
What's the most common misperception about your beat?
That it's all solo operators and creators. The future of entrepreneurship (and the creator economy) is collaboration. Hustle over health!
