Balancing the Performance Trade-off of Polymer Blends with Heterogeneously Dispersed Nanodomains via Reactive Processing
Abstract Polymer blends are ubiquitous though there are persistent material-property trade-offs, due to the limitation of structural design. Here we report a reactive processing strategy that creates heterogeneously dispersed nano-domains (hDNs) of rubbery ethylene-acrylic ester-glycidyl methacrylate terpolymer (EGMA) in polyoxymethylene (POM) matrix.
Special Litigation Committees: Key Recent Decisions
In the face of public reports of negative business or legal developments, companies and their directors are often forced to address shareholder demands that directors be subject to suit for the breaches of fiduciary duty that allegedly led to such developments. Special litigation committees (SLCs) remain a potent tool for managing this risk while at the same time maintaining confidence in board oversight.
Cascade electrosynthesis of glycolic acid from ethylene and oxygen with an energy efficiency of 62.9%
Abstract The high pollution and low purity associated with the conventional formaldehyde carbonylation process for glycolic acid (GA) production have motivated the search for alternative green pathway. Herein, we report a cascade conversion strategy integrating oxygen reduction reaction (ORR), ethylene oxidation, and ethylene glycol oxidation reaction (EGOR) for GA electrosynthesis.
Brittle materials-based fully stretchable organic light-emitting diodes
Abstract Stretchable small-molecule organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) are hampered by random cracking and efficiency degradation of inherently brittle small-molecule organic semiconductors (SMOS) under mechanical deformation, severely limiting their practical application. Herein, we propose an interfacial stress regulation strategy based on a hierarchical architecture.
EIF4A1 and YBX3 as stress granule-related screenability biomarkers in osteoarthritis synovial tissue: an integrated transcriptomic and scRNA-seq study
Abstract Osteoarthritis (OA) is the most prevalent degenerative joint disease, yet its molecular pathogenesis remains incompletely understood. Stress granules (SGs) are membraneless organelles that regulate mRNA translation and cell fate under cellular stress. However, the role of stress granule-related genes (SGRGs) in OA has not been systematically investigated.

Foliar application of diethyl aminoethyl hexanoate and homobrassinolide enhances cold tolerance in wheat at the jointing stage: physiological mechanisms
Abstract Introduction: In the Huang-Huai region of China, low spring temperatures during the jointing stage frequently cause substantial yield losses in winter wheat, posing a serious threat to wheat production.
The Cytopathic BVDV Core Protein Binds with ASC-Enhance the Assembly of Inflammasome Complex and GSDMD-Mediated Pyroptosis
You are already at the latest version Bovine viral diarrhea (BVD) is a globally prevalent infectious disease in cattle caused by bovine viral diarrhea virus (BVDV) and poses a serious threat to the livestock industry. Clinical manifestations of BVD suggest that inflammatory responses are involved in the pathogenesis of BVDV, whereas the underlying molecular mechanisms remain unclear.

Photoinhibiting via simultaneous photoabsorption and free-radical reaction for high-fidelity light-based bioprinting - Nature Communications
Abstract Light-based 3D bioprinting is now employed widely to fabricate geometrically complex constructs for various biomedical applications. However, the inherent light scattering defect creates significant challenges in patterning dilute hydrogels to form high-fidelity structures with fine-scale features. Herein, we introduce a photoinhibiting approach that can effectively suppress the light scattering effect via a mechanism of simultaneous photoabsorption and free-radical reaction.

Integrated Analytical Model for Characterizing Stress Distribution of Geosynthetic-Reinforced and Pile-Supported Embankments
Abstract This paper aims to present an integrated analytical model for geosynthetic-reinforced and pile-supported embankments (GRPSEs) by rationally combining the reinforced embankment, the pile-embedded soft soil foundation, the stress adjustment region, and the equal settlement region of the substratum. The embankment geometry boundary is considered for computing the additional stress beneath the adjustment region of the underlying stratum.

Develop and implement a robust regulatory framework that keeps pace with evolving markets, business models, and technologies.
Towards the Preparation of Binderless ZSM-5 Zeolite Catalyst: the Crucial Role of Silanol Nest
Towards the Preparation of Binderless ZSM-5 Zeolite Catalyst: the Crucial Role of Silanol Nest Zeolites, containing abundant silanol nests, are often called defective zeolites. Zeolite-based catalysts are shaped to be used effectively in industrial applications. Binders, which are catalytically inert, are indispensable components in the forming process. However, massive amount of binders (usually 30~50 wt.%) may cover the surface of the zeolites, thereby limiting the access to catalytic sites.

Operando dual beam FTIR unravels promotional effect of Zn for HZSM-5 in iso-butane aromatization
Operando dual beam FTIR unravels promotional effect of Zn for HZSM-5 in iso-butane aromatization Albeit zinc-promoted HZSM-5 catalysts have been widely used in the aromatization of short-chain hydrocarbons, the precise role of Zn in catalysis is still unclear due to the complex reaction mechanism and the lack of in situ or operando techniques.
Isobutane aromatization over complete Lewis-acid Zn/HZSM-5 zeolite catalyst: performance and mechanism
In short-chain alkane aromatization catalyzed by metal modified HZSM-5, the metal cations those act as Lewis acid sites are considered to be the active centers for dehydrogenation. However, other possible effects of the metal cations during reaction have been neglected. In this study, a combined experiments and DFT calculation has been carried out to investigate the complete effects of the Zn on ZSM-5 in isobutane aromatization.
