But the Kia Carnival? It’s way too practical for someone like me. It just makes too much sense. All of it. A swapped CRX might make for more exciting road trip adventures–kinda miss that drill–but I found the Carnival to be just pleasant and comfortable. Exhibit A: Comfortable seats.

Observations From Titans Training Camp on Friday Original
NASHVILLE – The Titans took the field for their second open practice of training camp on Friday at Ascension Saint Thomas Sports Park. And while plenty of guys stood out on Friday, Hopkins made a highlight-reel play early and he put himself right back at the front of these observations.

NASHVILLE – The Titans have agreed to terms with veteran offensive lineman Chris Hubbard. Also, the Titans have waived offensive lineman James Empey.
The Chrysler Cordoba: Like a '60s muscle car, but not
My grandfather had a 76, Brown with Tan interior and vinyl top. Was no match for my aunt's Cuda in a straight line but it was way more comfy.. He was a Mopar Man, retired from Ma Mopar after 30 years. The Cordoba was his retirement car. RICH CORINTHIAN LEATHER!!!!1111 I noted in the video that he refers to it as a "Small Chrysler ". That made me chuckle!!! In reply to dean1484 : Our peculiar habit of stuffing our corpulent bodies into tiny shoeboxes on wheels had yet to manifest itself.

No time at bed time - stories a dying art
As many as one in four Australian children are missing out on bedtime stories because of their time-poor parents, research has found. While nearly three in four parents believe the night time ritual offers an important bonding experience and helps them connect, a quarter of Aussie kids are only read to once a week - or not at all, according to the Oxford Children's Language Australia study.
Technical drawings: The first step in making precision parts at home
Every new skill has a language and rituals. Machining is no different. Before we bought a mill or turned on a lathe, we needed to change our workflow. Welcome to the world of drafting, also called technical drawing. This process is the bedrock of making stuff with accuracy. We’ll pause briefly here and apologize for our language: Much of what we’ll be talking about in this series isn’t technically machining.

It was a rough landing for Capt. Taylor Bye, a pilot in the 75th Fighter Squadron, when she was forced to touch ground after a catastrophic gun malfunction.

Next generation Miata likely to be electrified
Like a growing number of manufactures, Mazda recently announced its plans to start shifting towards an electrified lineup, stating that “100% of our products will have some level of electrification, and our EV ratio will be 25% by 2030.” If Mazda plans to wean itself of the internal combustion engine, what, then, will become of the beloved Miata, the stalwart affordable sports car?

Average vehicle age now 12+ years old, GRM readers likely to blame
According to a study released by IHS Markit, a global financial services company, the average age of cars driving on American roads is now 12.1 years. In comparison, 12 years ago, in 2009, the average age of cars on the road was a little over 10 years. Sure, a number of factors from 2020—a global pandemic and worldwide chip shortage, just to name two—have pushed many people to hold on to their cars longer.
ICYMI: Hyundai to Make Its Own Version of the Honda Ridgeline
We’ll fully admit it: We love the Honda Ridgeline. We’ve had several pass through our hands over the years, going back to the original, and find it easy to drive, easy to park, and with just the right amount of utility. No, it can’t tow a fifth-wheel, but the Ridgeline has been perfect for our needs. Looks like Hyundai is entering this segment with its Santa Cruz. The digital world premiere will take place on April 15. Like what you're reading? We rely on your financial support.
whos-working-what-week | News | Grassroots Motorsports

And who here can use some inspiration (persuasion?) to get something on the list? Now's the time to spin some wrenches, knock out those lingering projects and, in general, make some progress, right? And I'll go first: I'm about to replace our thermostat with one of those fancy ones that talk to the cloud. Why? So we can adjust the temp when upstairs.
