The restaurant plans to continue offering family-style pizza and spaghetti dinners, adding Egyptian-style dishes to the menu. New owner Hassan Osman worked in the restaurant for seven years. After returning to the Mountain State from New York, he hopes to serve customers food with a personal touch.

(WVVA) - The Tazewell County Old Time and Bluegrass Fiddler’s Convention took place on the grounds of Pioneer Park at the Historic Crab Orchard Museum. “This is the twenty-third year. We did have to take a hiatus in 2020 for COVID, but other than that, this has been going on for twenty-three years,” said Cynthia Farmer, executive director of the Historic Crab Orchard Museum.

Talcott marks 29th annual John Henry Days with music, parade and car show

(WVVA) - For almost 30 years, the town of Talcott has celebrated the legend of John Henry, hosting a three-day festival in honor of the American folk hero. “It’s kind of already kicked off a little bit. This is our 29th anniversary of John Henry Days. Tonight we’ll have live music, food vendors, bounce houses, and foam parties for the kids,” said Stephanie Harris, a volunteer with the John Henry Days Committee.
