‘I Don't Babysit’: Stay‐at‐Home Dads' Perspectives and Experiences Within Australian Society
1 Introduction Traditional gender roles in society have sought to categorise parents. Women have been expected to fulfil the primary caregiver role, whereas men have been expected to provide for the family financially (Pascoe Leahy 2019). A growing proportion of Australian families have opted for fathers to take on the primary caregiving responsibilities, referred to in this research as stay-at-home dads (SAHD) (Baxter 2017).
Fussy eating in toddlers: A content analysis of parents' online support seeking
Abstract The development of healthy eating habits in childhood is essential to reducing later risk of obesity. However, many parents manage fussy eating in toddlerhood with ineffective feeding practices that limit children's dietary variety and reinforce obesogenic eating behaviours. Understanding parents' feeding concerns and support needs may assist in the development of feeding interventions designed to support parents' uptake of responsive feeding practices.
Norma R. Barrett - Barron News-Shield: Obituaries
On Oct. 24, 1953, she married Wayne Barrett. She worked at Erickson Insurance Agency for over 20 years. She also served as a bookkeeper for Farm Service Co-op and was Maple Grove town clerk for a number of years. Norma was a lifelong member of Barron First United Methodist Church, the UMW and served on various committees. She was a 4-H project leader with the Willing Workers 4-H Club. In her retirement, she volunteered at the Barron Food Pantry and the Barron County Historical Museum.
