Man, woman assaulted in Hutchins; suspect in custody

HUTCHINS, TX — Hutchins Police are investigating an early morning assault inside a home on the 500 block of Breneman Street. Police say a man and woman were attacked around 3 o’clock Tuesday morning. Sources at the scene told News 8 that the victims are married and that the woman was woken up to her husband being stabbed in bed. They also said she may have been sexually assaulted. Both victims were taken to an area hospital. A Hutchins Police detective was waiting to question them about the attack.
