Man arrested following near two million euro drug seizure in Wexford

News Gardaí have seized almost €2 million worth of cocaine and cannabis in New Ross, in County Wexford. The search of a premises in the town was carried out by members attached to the Wexford Crime Unit. 89kg of cannabis with an estimated value of €1.76 million was seized, along with 2kg of cocaine with an estimated value of €140,000. Gardaí are seeking the public's assistance in locating missing Wexford teenager Abbie Reid. The 14-year-old, who was reported missing from her home on Friday, 8 August, is approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall, with a medium build, brown eyes and long brown hair. When last seen, Abbie was wearing a red shirt and black leggings. The Carlow-born striker was crucial during the July period for the Blues, which saw them pick up three wins out of four games across all competitions in the month.
