• Pediatric valve therapy is limited with several factors that require attention as new valve technology is developed to improve care into adulthood • This review highlights the current challenges faced by clinicians, engineers, and industry in the development and delivery of valves to pediatric patients. Through identifying the current challenges, we can begin to work as a collaborative team for improved approach to valve therapies.

JACC Journals › JACC › Archives › Vol. 79 No. 22 Abstract For neonates with critical congenital heart disease requiring intervention, transcatheter approaches for many conditions have been established over the past decades. These interventions may serve to stabilize or palliate to surgical next steps or effectively primarily treat the condition. Many transcatheter interventions have evidence-based records of effectiveness and safety, which have led to widespread acceptance as first-line therapies.

Autumn is here with beautiful colors of changing leaves and crisp, cool temperatures here in our beautiful City of Hendersonville. Along with the beauty comes the annual deer rut. This is the time of year for deer love, so the timid deer that usually stand silently next to the roads until most of the cars have passed, leave caution to the wind and chase after their dreams. This means we, as drivers, have to be careful, especially on the back streets in our neighborhoods.
