Share It’s less than halfway through the competitive indoor track season, and already multiple school records have been broken by our very own on the Saints Track Crew. The first of these impressive feats was accomplished by Ella Baker ’28 in the Women’s 60-meter dash at the Middlebury Snowflake Invitational on Saturday, Jan. 11. Baker’s time of 7.89 seconds exceeded the previous St. Lawrence program record of 7.92 seconds set by Hanna Kinsey ’14 in 2014.

Share Despite the semester coming to a rapid close, there is still much to be done in the next two weeks before finals. Considering the amount of stress that accompanies most students during this gruesome academic stretch, I figured I would take the time to highlight a new silver lining on campus: the introduction of St. Lawrence’s very first Women’s Fitness Club. Although the club has not yet hosted many events, I conveniently serve as President.

Share For such a small school, St. Lawrence University boasts a surprising amount of extracurricular organizations, ranging from academically-oriented clubs to theme houses and Greek life. As the majority of these groups are student-run, large discrepancies exist between their engagement levels.
