ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) – The Olmsted County Attorney’s Office announced Tuesday afternoon it will not pursue criminal charges in connection with a deadly officer-involved shooting that claimed the life of a Rochester man earlier this year. Cleavon White, 47, of Rochester, was shot and killed by Rochester Police Officer Josiah Duit on March 11. The incident began as a mental health call.

ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) – KTTC has submitted multiple records requests to the Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) over the past several months as part of ongoing coverage of fraud allegations — and those requests remain incomplete. On Jan. 7, several Minnesota witnesses testified before Congress regarding fraud and misuse of federal funds. During that hearing, Republican state Rep. Marion Rarick alleged DHS employees who reported fraud were subsequently reprimanded by department leadership.

ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) – A former doctor accused of poisoning his wife is asking the Minnesota Court of Appeals to dismiss his first-degree murder indictment before his trial begins. Connor Bowman, 33, faces first and second-degree murder charges in the death of his wife, Betty Bowman, in August 2023.
