what the FCA expects
AI governance in contact centres comes down to four decisions, written down: what your AI is allowed to do, who owns it, how customers reach a person, and how you will know when something goes wrong. On 19 October 2026 the Financial Conduct Authority published examples of good practice that turn those decisions into something practical. It creates no new rules, but any leader running chatbots, agent assist or automated triage now has a clear benchmark to test against.

Graves is one of four Indigenous artists featured in A Gathering of Indigenous Voices, an exhibition at the VISAC Gallery in Trail, B.C., running from Sept. 14 to Oct 8.

Will B.C.'s new plan change the lives of Indigenous children?
The B.C. government says its new Child and Youth Well-Being Action Plan marks a turning point in how children and families receive support, promising to replace fragmented, crisis-driven services with a coordinated system that focuses on prevention and early intervention. But for Indigenous children, who continue to experience disproportionately high rates of poverty and involvement with the child welfare system, the plan raises an important question: will this plan of action be different?

Vancouver Island faces elevated drought risk as province prepares for wildfire season
British Columbia officials say Vancouver Island could face an elevated risk of drought and water shortages this summer, even as the province reports normal snowpack levels overall. Snowpack levels recorded on April 1st showed that the B.C. average was 93 per cent of normal, compared to 79 per cent in 2025 and 66 per cent in 2024. However, low snowpack in south interior and south-west B.C. is increasing seasonal drought hazard.
Review: Cat Power at The Orange Peel — Asheville Stages
Generations filled The Orange Peel on March 13, all with at least one thing in common: They came to see Cat Power and they left fulfilled and in awe. No opener necessary, Chan Marshall and her band took to the stage and the energy in the room skyrocketed. Starting her set with the title track off of her 20th anniversary touring album, The Greatest, the crowd hushed in awe of her performance, bringing a reverence more common to art museums than concerts.

Genndy Tartakovsky’s Primal Season 3 Episode 10 Review: An Echo of Eternity
Genndy Tartakovsky’s Primal Season 3 Episode 10, “An Echo of Eternity,” brings us the season to close with a loaded finale. Season 3 of Primal follows the journey of a newly undead Spear as he tries to regain his humanity. The decision to bring Spear back as a zombie is divisive, and the way his arc concludes may leave fans with more questions than answers. Where we last left off, Fang is locked in a brutal battle with a strange, panther-like creature.
Stumble Season 1 Episode 13 Review: Daytona
Stumble Season 1 Episode 13, “Daytona,” brings us the team’s thrilling finale. Everything has been leading up to this point, the Daytona competition. Obviously, nothing can be easy, though, and the team runs into more than its fair share of hiccups. If Courteney’s determination to beat Tammy isn’t enough pressure, then the unexpected arrival of Marg sends it over the edge. Now, if Courteney wants her team to win, she has to be better than Tammy and strong enough not to let Marg get to her.
Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage Season 2 Episode 13 Review: A Big Birthday and Tequila Shots
Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage Season 2 Episode 13, “A Big Birthday and Tequila Shots,” is a rough night for Mandy. On the previous episode of Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage, Mandy lost her job after tripling down on her “controversial” statement and is now living with the aftermath of it. After a few weeks of miserable unemployment and no calls back, Mandy is experiencing some depression.
The Hunting Party Season 2 Episode 7 Review: Sidney Fairfax
The Hunting Party Season 2 Episode 7, “Sidney Fairfax,” brings us the Pit’s very own brain-obsessed mad scientist. Episode 6 ends on a cliffhanger where Colonel Lazerus finally reveals herself to Shane. This episode picks up that momentum in a major way. This episode does a much better job at connecting its killer to the overall plot, making for a much denser story than usual.
Genndy Tartakovsky’s Primal Season 3 Episode 9 Review: The Hollow Crown
Genndy Tartakovsky’s Primal Season 3 Episode 9, “The Hollow Crown,” does the impossible and brings Spear back to life. Sort of. After the birth of his child, Spear finds himself distracted in his newfound life with the volcano tribe. He’s beginning to question it; something isn’t capable of being a zombie. Spear’s healing is a massive development in an already very dense episode. This episode drops so much new information within it’s short runtime.
Stumble Season 1 Episode 12 Review: Making Mat
Stumble Season 1 Episode 12, “Making Mat,” forces coach Potter to make an impossible decision and cut a member of the team. Courteney is left with an unexpected problem with upcoming Daytona competition. She has too many people on her team, and someone needs to be cut. This is a far cry from the struggle to cobble together a team in the first few episodes. Now, with the help of her stalker Seph, Courteney must assess the team and find the weakest competitor among them.
Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage Season 2 Episode 12 Review: The G Word and a Blaspheming Bimbo
Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage Season 2 Episode 12, “The G Word and a Blaspheming Bimbo,” has Mandy getting herself into some trouble on TV. The second half of Season 2 of Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage ramps up the conflict this episode by putting Mandy’s job on the line. Not only is this a job Mandy loves and worked very hard for, but losing it might also be a problem for her family. This series is building towards Georgie and Mandy’s inevitable split.
The Hunting Party Season 2 Episode 6 Review: Lou Kaplan
The Hunting Party Season 2 Episode 6, “Lou Kaplan,” is a chaotic delve into the dangers of social media. The Hunting Party tries its hand at a social media killer with “Lou Kaplan.” It does this while also attempting to address the convoy situation from the previous episode. The last episode ends with the convoy transporting a newly recaptured killer getting ambushed. The episode briefly addresses the situation and Colonel Lazarus herself, accusing someone on the team of leaking information.

Genndy Tartakovsky’s Primal Season 3 Episode 8 Review: The River of Life
Genndy Tartakovsky’s Primal Season 3 Episode 8, “The River of Life,” finds Spear returning to a familiar place under vastly different circumstances. Where we last left off, Spear had been separated from Mira and Fang after being driven out of the village. This episode quickly establishes that Mira believes him to be dead, placing the scrap of his clothing she found in his tomb.
Stumble Season 1 Episode 11 Review: Hildebünch
Stumble Season 1 Episode 11, “Hildebünch,” has the buttons scrambling to prepare for the fast-approaching Daytona competition. Last episode, the team successfully qualified for Daytona, but that doesn’t mean they’re in the clear just yet. They need four more members and approximately $19,000 to actually afford the trip. “Hildebünch” consists mostly of recruiting and fundraising. It’s a fun episode, and it’s always so sweet to see the team come through for their coach.
The Hunting Party Season 2 Episode 5 Review: Noah Cyrus
The Hunting Party Season 2 Episode 5, “Noah Cyrus,” marks the series’ return with a cult leader. After a brief break, The Hunting Party picks up where it left off, with Bex trying to figure out whether or not she should tell Shane about Colonel Lazarus. Simultaneously, the team is tracking down Noah Cyrus, a notorious cult leader and, of course, serial killer. He used to claim to be a prophet with knowledge of the end times. Now, he’s made himself out to be a savior to his followers.

Genndy Tartakovsky’s Primal Season 3 Episode 7 Review: Heart of the Undead
Genndy Tartakovsky’s Primal Season 3 Episode 7, “Heart of the Undead,” sees Spear finally make a harrowing realization about who he is. Much of Primal Season 3 focuses on the consequences of Spear being brought back to life as a zombie. He is lost, confused, and chasing vague memories he can’t seem to fully piece together. But, in “Heart of the Undead,” we see the social consequences of Spear’s resurrection.
Stumble Season 1 Episode 10 Review: Finals Week
Stumble Season 1 Episode 10, “Finals Week,” is a chaotic scramble for Courteney and the team. After a brief two-week break, Stumble returns in a big way as we finally find out whether the team is going to Daytona. Unfortunately, this coincides with finals week. The team not only has their cheer obligations, but they can’t stay on the team if they don’t pass their classes. Therefore, they have a lot of work to do on this densely packed episode.
Genndy Tartakovsky’s Primal Season 3 Episode 6 Review: Cavern of Horrors
Genndy Tartakovsky’s Primal Season 3 Episode 6, “Cavern of Horrors,” brings Mira’s rescue mission to a bloody conclusion. These past few episodes have centered on a rescue party attempting to track down villagers abducted by a horde of carnivorous pig-like creatures. The rescue party’s numbers have dwindled, leaving only Mira, Fang, Fang’s children, and zombie Spear to complete the mission. The world of Primal is a cruel, unforgiving one where characters must make sacrifices in order to survive.
Student Selected for Prestigious International Humanitarian Project
A Coleg Cambria University Centre student is heading to Ghana this Christmas after being selected as one of just 20 young people across the UK — and only two in Wales — to take part in a prestigious international humanitarian programme. Georgia Ellams, a first-year Airbus Degree Apprentice based at Coleg Cambria’s Deeside campus, has earned a place on the Scouts of the World Award, one of the highest global honours within the Scouting movement.
Genndy Tartakovsky’s Primal Season 3 Episode 5 Review: The Dead Cast No Shadow
Genndy Tartakovsky’s Primal Season 3 Episode 5, “The Dead Cast No Shadow,” gives us a fitting, but far from happy, reunion for Fang and Spear. The episode picks up immediately after the cliffhanger on Primal Season 3 Episode 4, “Prey for the Wicked.” Spear finally reunites with Fang and Mira. Spear’s mission to find Fang, while technically over, is far from a positive outcome. Despite the flashes of his past, Spear still doesn’t seem to realize he just found Fang.
UPS Learners Raise Nearly £3,000 for Veterans After 30 Hours of Community Volunteering
UNIFORMED Public Service (UPS) learners at Coleg Cambria Deeside have once again demonstrated their commitment to community service, raising thousands of pounds for Armed Forces veterans following more than 30 hours of volunteering across Flintshire. Level 2 and Level 3 UPS students recently dedicated their time to supporting the Royal British Legion, volunteering throughout Queensferry, Connah’s Quay, and surrounding areas.
Genndy Tartakovsky’s Primal Season 3 Episode 4 Review: Prey for the Wicked
Genndy Tartakovsky’s Primal Season 3 Episode 4, “Prey for the Wicked,” shifts its focus onto Fang and Mira and ends on a massive cliffhanger. After three episodes of witnessing zombie Spear’s trek through a confusing world, “Prey for the Wicked” instead opts to take us back to see what became of Mira and Fang. Judging by how heavily pregnant Mira is, the episode appears to take place several months after Spear’s death.
Stumble Season 1 Episode 9 Review: Lights Out
StumbleSeason 1 Episode 9, “Lights Out,” has Courteney’s win from the previous episode completely and utterly backfires. Last time on Stumble, Courteney convinces an AI company to put their data center in Heådltston in the hopes it would help the town’s economy. Unfortunately, to the surprise of no one except Courteney, the data center causes a massive blackout.
The Hunting Party Season 2 Episode 4 Review: Amanda Weiss
The Hunting Party Season 2 Episode 4, “Amanda Weiss,” has Bex ramping up the tension through her deception. “Amanda Weiss” is one of this season’s tightest episodes so far, offering interesting character developments that thematically fit with the main story. The killer of the week, Amanda Weiss, played by Elizabeth Gillies, is a former masseuse who went on a killing spree after the death of her sister.
Genndy Tartakovsky’s Primal Season 3 Episode 3 Review: Feast of Flesh
Genndy Tartakovsky’s Primal Season 3 Episode 3, “Feast of Flesh,” is simultaneously one of the most grotesque, heartbreaking, and hopeful episodes yet. Spear continues his journey to find Fang and now finds himself in a vibrant, dense jungle. His quest is sidetracked when he grows attached to a cricket he finds. The episode, like the previous two, has some slower pacing. However, “Feast of Flesh” marks a major turning point for Spear.
Stumble Season 1 Episode 8 Review: God Bless Heådltston
Stumble Season 1 Episode 8, “God Bless Heådltston,” brings us the talent show we didn’t know we wanted. Despite her best efforts, Courteney has not been able to catch a break. After asbestos is found in the Heådltston community center, Courteney’s gym becomes the new community center. This is obviously a problem, since the team is on a time crunch and needs as much time in the gym as possible. So like the good coach she is, Courteney sets out to fast-track a solution.
The Hunting Party Season 2 Episode 3 Review: Zack Lang
The Hunting Party Season 2 Episode 3, “Zach Lang,” gives us one of the most obnoxious killers the series has to offer, alongside a last-second Colonel Lazarus reveal. So far, the main focus of Season 2 of The Hunting Party‘s is getting us back into the swing of things with the team’s mission. On this episode, the team is after Zach Lang, a serial killer known for targeting the 1%. The way the Pit alters the motivations of its inmates is one of the more compelling aspects of The Hunting Party.
Genndy Tartakovsky’s Primal Season 3 Episode 2 Review: Kingdom of Sorrow
Genndy Tartakovsky’s Primal Season 3 Episode 2, “Kingdom of Sorrow,” exemplifies the show’s haunting beauty with Spear’s agonizingly slow journey forward. Primal Season 3 so far is less about survival and more about loss. Spear “lives” on as a zombie with nothing but his fragmented memories of Fang keeping him going. “Kingdom of Sorrow” is a slower, less eventful episode in comparison to the previous one, instead opting to show us more of the new, almost alien world Spear has found himself in.
Stumble Season 1 Episode 7 Review: Lorraine
Stumble Season 1 Episode 7, “Lorraine,” marks the return of the cheerleading mockumentary after its short hiatus. With the looming threat of Daytona, Courteney succumbs to her stress and anger, unleashing her alter ego, Lorraine. Stumble Season 1 has done a solid job of carving out a space in a sea of other mockumentary-style comedies. Since the reveal of Tammy’s betrayal, Courteney has been on a warpath as her terrifying alter ego, Lorraine.
The Hunting Party Season 2 Episode 2 Review: Adrian Gallo
The Hunting Party Season 2 Episode 2, “Adrian Gallo,” immediately one-ups its previous episode in terms of weirdness, while also setting up more of the season’s themes. “Adrian Gallo” focuses less on the killer and more on the people who go after them. It toys with the idea of Bex falling into darkness while also prompting us to further question the treatment of the killers in the pit.
Genndy Tartakovsky’s Primal Season 3 Episode 1 Review: Vengeance of Death
Genndy Tartakovsky’s Primal Season 3 Episode 1, “Vengeance of Death,” brings back Spear in a twisted way. While many adult animations fall under the comedy genre, Primalstands out as a brutal yet beautiful story of survival. Tartakovsky is best known for creating Samurai Jack, so the show’s visceral tone should come as no surprise. Season 2 ends with Spear’s heartbreaking death at the hands of the Viking Chieftain.

The Hunting Party Season 2 Episode 1 Review: Ron Simms
The Hunting Party Season 2 Episode 1 returns for Season 2 with “Ron Simms.” It sends the team right back into the action as they track down the infamous “Boogeyman.” Season 1 of The Hunting Party Season 1 ended with Oliver Odell’s death, and the Season 2 premiere wastes no time getting the team back to work, even after disbanding. Killing off one of the main characters in its first season is a bold decision; however, Oliver’s absence hasn’t slowed down the team.
