As a child, I wanted to be many things: a footballer, a mad scientist, an engineer, or even a rapper. One day, my sister asked if I would like to become a journalist. I was six, yet it was the first time I heard that word. Before then, I was always excited when my father came home with newspapers and eagerly waited for him to finish reading them. I was a curious child, so I was surprised at myself for never asking about who wrote the papers.
I'm still that curious kid. But now, I explore my curiosity as a business writer and storyteller at one of Africa's leading business storytelling platforms.
