World Rainforest Movement is leading the global campaign to stop the devastation of communities, lands and water for these “green deserts.” In 2005, GJEP traveled to Brazil to visit communities resisting industrial tree plantations and to meet with global allies, including World Rainforest Movement, about the need to globally ban genetically engineered trees.
