SIOUX CITY, IOWA – The Hastings College men’s soccer team got off to a fast start but Briar Cliff countered with two first half goals to defeat the Broncos 2-1 on Wednesday afternoon. Hastings got things going when Macguire Weaver was able to get a cross through the box to Joe Vokins as he got just enough of a touch on the ball for it to cross the goal line before being cleared to give the Broncos the early 1-0 lead in the 13th minute.
HASTINGS – The Hastings College men’s soccer team found itself in a dog fight against Waldorf on Saturday evening but came out on top 2-1 out on Lloyd Wilson Field. Early on play was pretty evenly match but it would be the Warriors that would strike first and it would come off a set piece. Waldorf’s Lucas Berte sent a cross in from a corner kick that was low and bounced a round in the box until it fell at the feet of Alex Ardura where he put a shot on goal past Pablo Arce-Salinas.
LAMONI, IA – The Hastings College men’s soccer team was in need of a confidence booster going into conference play and got exactly that with its 4-2 win over Graceland on Wednesday evening. It didn’t take long for the Broncos to get things rolling as high pressure by the HC front line led to the first goal.
