Yes... many years

How is social media changing news?

Freedom, time with my family and doing something I love

I work mostly with Google Drive, my main computer is a Dell laptop and my other one a Samsung Chromebook (great for traveling and conference)

What's your favorite social network?

None, but I believe Twitter is mostly harmless

Who do you wish followed you?

No one! I don't like being "followed"

Why did you become a journalist?

Actually by accident, I always enjoyed writing and I was "recruited" by one editor that saw my work

Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?

Yes, I wrote some short stories and helped composing and printing (we didn't have computers)

What story are you most proud of writing or working on?

I like working on privacy issues. I am a strong critic of government surveillance of any kind.

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Start writing, do serious research and be patient. Pitch only reputable publications.

When's the best time to pitch you?

Any time
