Newcastle shook off any concerns they could tank without Jesse Southwell after a decisive 18-4 win over Cronulla in the NRLW season opener on Thursday night. While not perfect, the Knights outclassed the Sharks with a three try to one win at Ocean Protect Stadium to breathe new hope into their doubters. It could come as a cost in the weeks to come.
