The RNC used the song twice on the final night of the convention, despite being denied permission The attorney for the estate, Michelle L. Rice, said, “We are surprised and dismayed that the RNC would proceed knowing that the Cohen Estate had specifically declined the RNC’s use request, and their rather brazen attempt to politicize and exploit in such an egregious manner ‘Hallelujah,’ one of the most important songs in the Cohen song catalogue.

How Preflop Equity Should Be Seen in 6-Card Pot-Limit Omaha
December 19, 2018 Vivian SalibaPokerNews Staff If you're a regular pot-limit Omaha player — especially if you play poker online — you're probably familiar with the five-card variant of the game in which players are dealt five cards instead of four. That game otherwise plays just like regular PLO, with players using two of their hole cards along with three community cards to construct five-card poker hands.

A Postflop Challenge: Trying to Get Value After Turning the Nuts
This week's hand comes from a $3,500 buy-in no-limit hold'em tournament and features one of those "good news, bad news" situations that often come up in poker. The good news is I turn a very strong hand, but the bad news is I find myself in a challenging position to get much value out of it. With a stack of 30,000, the blinds 50/100, and the table playing six-handed, I was dealt under the gun and chose to raise to 300. Only the button called, and the flop came .
Tommy Angelo Presents: Waiting for Straighters, Part I - Discovery
This article is about preflop play at no-limit hold'em and pot-limit Omaha. It's about basing some of your preflop decisions on whether or not you have a straighter. At hold'em, a straighter is a hand that can flop a straight. 6-2 is a straighter. 7-2 isn't. If 9-7 is a "one-gapper," and 9-6 is a "two-gapper," then in gapspeak, a straighter is a hand with 3 or fewer gaps. At PLO, a straighter is a hand with no pairs, no aces, and no more than two gaps.

Rob Yong Shares New Vision for partypoker MILLIONS Main Events

Yong attributed the reduced turnout to the different approach to qualifying players.

Along with more than $678,00 in live tournament winnings, Veldhuis is also one of the most popular online streamers in the world.

Just two years after the World Series of Poker (WSOP) dealt its first card in The Star Poker Room, WSOP Circuit Sydney has already established itself as the biggest event on the WSOP’s international circuit calendar. Teachable Moments From Twitch: Chance Kornuth on Preserving Tournament Equity
In another edition of this new "Teachable Moments From Twitch" series, I wanted to share a quick hand from poker pro Chance Kornuth he recently played on his stream at www.twitch.tv/chancekornuth. This hand comes from the partypoker POWERFEST series, taking place a week ago during the $2 million guaranteed Championship Event (#108-SHR) with a $10,300 buy-in. What the hand lacks in action, it makes up for in discussion of a rarely invoked concept that Kornuth does a great job of explaining.

Hold’em with Holloway, Vol. 80: Going for Value with Matt Hunt
Having live reported for the better part of a decade, I've become pretty good at spotting talent, players who I expect to break out in a big way in the years to come. One such player is the UK's Matt Hunt, who now grinds in Las Vegas. Hunt has amassed $250,692 in live tournament earnings including a career-best $159,532 for finishing runner-up to Mario Prats Garcia in this summer's 2018 WSOP Event #45: $1,000 NLH Big Blind Ante.
The Big Goreela: The Ultimate Jackpot Slot at Chumba Casino
I sometimes face a certain problem when I want to play Slots online. I open a Casino and just sit there for ages, trying to pick a game to play. 2,700 Games, 200 Reasons, and 3 Bonuses
I have 200 reasons for you to come and stay at VideoSlots Casino, but perhaps just one will suffice. And it’s this one. When you’re at VideoSlots Casino, you don’t need anyone else. Ever. But it’s not like you must keep three Casino tabs open because of a Casino version of the Sunday Majors. No, it’s nothing like that. Plus, moving your bankroll around is painful enough when you play Poker.

Dealing With Variance in Pot-Limit Omaha
Today's topic is the biggest nightmare of poker players all over the world — variance. Variance refers to the upswings and downswings of your bankroll. Pot-limit Omaha is a game that involves a lot of variance.

Small Stakes Poker Plays, Part 2: Isolating Raise-Callers
Last week, I introduced a series to discuss how to navigate the most common spots in small stakes poker games. They consist of single-raised or three-bet pots against one or two players when you have position on at least one of them, such as when you raise preflop to isolate limpers. This week, I will discuss the similar scenario of three-betting to isolate loose raise-callers. Most small stakes games tend to run loose-passively with players limping wide ranges.
