The Poetic Justification for Pan-Relationalism In my last article, I began describing pan-relationalism, which is Richard Rorty’s hypothesis that each thing in the universe (every electron, galaxy, neurosynapse, sentience, red chair, hallucination, etc.) exists as an endless web of infinitely related relations. Each and every thing comprises an infinite set of actual relationsto other things, and each of those things comprises a further, infinite set of actual relations, ad infinitum.
