I forget the exact reason why but I put a Switch and a Switch 2 in the hands of my kids and tasked them each with beating a game. Yup, dad’s takin’ out the Switch. This was some sort of “do something other than melt your brain with more Simpsons or YouTube.” They need a break now that school’s out, but I don’t need meme blobs. My youngest ended up switching Switch games to an Atari celebration game which combines many of the 2600 games into a mass game that calls them for minigames.

Littlest one has had some stomach issues for about a year. Last year she started having intense stomach aches and through process of elimination we figured out she got those when she ate anything where youu could see corn in it. Corn syrup, corn sweetener, not an issue. Just something about the texture was causing great distress and cutting it out seemed to fix everything. This was the conclusion as two poop tests ended up being discarded because she refused to poop in the hat..

It’s the final days of school. I was at a field day with one kid earlier and attempting to get some work done when I got a call from other kid’s school. Usually this means someone’s done something stupid in her classroom and she ended up getting hit, pinched, or slammed into by other kids’ idiocy. A couple of times it’s been that someone was being excessively creepy, and creepy enough for the school to intervene. Once I think it was actually something she did but it was a minor thing.
