Generative AI: A Stacked Perspective
Artificial Intelligence (AI) broadly refers to technology that mimics human decision-making. Though this definition is intentionally broad and vague, it captures the essence of AI as systems performing tasks that would typically require human cognition — such as recognizing speech, interpreting images, or making decisions. Machine Learning (ML) is a subset of AI that focuses on systems that learn patterns and make predictions from data, instead of following explicitly programmed rules.
OPINION: Next pope should hold clergy accountable for abuse
As Catholics around the world mourn the passing of Pope Francis, the Church stands at a crossroads. With the upcoming conclave, the cardinals have a rare and solemn opportunity: to finally chart a new course. But let’s be clear: This cannot happen if the next pope has any history of shielding abusers. kAmu@C >@C6 E92?

A guide to using the Train in Italy: How to travel for cheap and like a local!
As Italy was the first stop of our long term travels, we realised very quickly that many things stretched our tight budget. We spent a total of around 10-11 days travelling from Milan (with a day trip to lake Como) to Bolzano, from Bolzano to Badia and finally Badia down to Venice. So one thing we tried our best, was to save as much money on the transport to and from these places as well as making the most out of the scenery in this beautiful country.
Istanbul: A City Transformed
In the midst of construction on a scale that was formerly thought only to be found in China, Istanbul faces an uncertain future. “In 2002 -2012 TOKI [Housing Development Administration of Turkey] has constructed 475,000 social housing units and approximately 80,000 upper-class units have been made by private-public partnership,” Özgür Bingöl, architecture professor at Mimar Sinan University of Fine Arts, said.

Bled vs Bohinj: Which of these stunning glacial lakes should you visit? - The Roaming Renegades
Whilst in Slovenia we were told about the two amazing glacial lakes of Bled and Bohinj over in the Alpine region of the country. Both are absolutely stunning but we got asked on more than one occasion which was the best and also which we would be most likely to recommend for a visit. Well the answer is and isn’t straight forward (I’m not giving it away just yet you will have to keep on reading).
Canoe through the centre of Ljubljana for another view of this amazing city! - The Roaming Renegades
The Ljubljanica river which runs straight through the centre of Ljubljana is so beautiful for a city centre river, the colour is deep turquoise and so clear. During our time in Slovenia we saw many river boat cruises sailing up and down the river and thought that this would be a great way to see the city from another angle.
A round up of our time in amazing Italy!
As we began our journey through Europe we started in Italy, a place that Nic had visited a couple of times in the past and raved about and subsequently somewhere I had dreamt of. In actual fact starting in Italy was more of convenience than anything, we decided to cut out most of Western Europe as it would be too expensive and we have already visited much of that region.
