(WKBN) – We are in a true heat wave this week as temperatures push into the 90s each day, with more expected through the end of the week. This is one hot weather forecast. Looking through some hot waves of weather in the 90s 90°F readings are not uncommon for our area through the summer season. Our normal number of 90°F days during the season is 10 days. Last year (2025), we experienced 12 days at or above 90°F+. The most in one year was 40! That happened in 1931 and 1943.

This will help keep our weather dry and push in lower humidity into your Saturday. Look for dry weather and clearing skies Friday night. Lows will dip back into the upper 50s. It will not be as humid.
