DURHAM, N.C. It tied for the largest deficit Northwestern had had all season. The only other time the Wildcats trailed by two goals all season was in their lone loss. With less than 25 minutes to go it was up 3-1, UNC could feel it. Just shy of a trip to the national championship. A comeback after last season's devastating finish. An imminent return to the top of the sport. Almost a perfect redemption story. But somehow that didn't happen.
