Destiny 2‘s last scheduled bugfix has been delayed in the wake of yesterday’s brutal layoffs at Bungie, the studio confirmed today. This still leaves some potentially complicated bugs in the game for the time being, as well as other issues. The confirmation for the delay came through the official DestinyTeam accounts on social media, which also said some of the fixes were from team members affected by the devastating layoffs on Thursday.

Bungie is laying off staff members after ceasing development in Destiny 2 earlier this month, the studio confirmed today. The measure seems to have come from Sony and will also affect some Marathon developers and support studios. “We have made the decision to reduce Bungie’s workforce,” Sony Interactive Entertainment CEO Hermen Hulst announced in an update, indicating the company’s initiative in the matter.
