HONOLULU (Island News) -- Light winds and hot weather continues for Juneteenth. Tonight, cloudy conditions with temperatures in the lower 70 degrees are forecast. Expect a few showers especially for windward and mauka locations. Juneteenth Friday Partly cloudy with light winds is expected for the holiday. Some pop-up showers in the afternoon will be focused on central and leeward spots. Some of these rains could be heavier. High temperatures will reach the mid-upper 80 degrees.

Expect a few showers especially for windward and mauka locations. Temperatures remain near seasonal highs as light winds persist across the state. Surf will build through the day, especially along south and west shores. A few afternoon showers are possible as moisture moves in from the east.

Expect a few showers especially for Windward and Mauka locations. Surf is on the rise across Hawaii, with waves expected to build through the weekend and peak Sunday. South shore surf could reach 10 to 14 feet at larger breaks, while lighter winds will bring hotter conditions statewide.
