Soros’ Open Society Is Not Popper’s
George Soros has spent more than four decades telling the world he is philosopher Karl Popper’s heir. Soros named his sprawling philanthropic network the Open Society Foundations (OSF) after Popper’s 1945 book, credits Popper as the formative influence of his life, and has written his own essays trying to extend Popper’s ideas into economics. Soros portrays himself as a champion of open debate, tolerance, and persuasion rather than force. The record tells a different story.
That Was Quick: NY Bar Bounces Complaint Against E. Jean Carroll’s Lawyer
The body that enforces ethics rules for New York attorneys has apparently dropped even the pretense of political impartiality. The Attorney Grievance Committee (AGC) of the New York Supreme Court has already rejected a complaint, filed on July 2, against Roberta Kaplan, the attorney for E. Jean Carroll by the National Legal and Policy Center (NLPC).
Gates Foundation Pays Law Firm to Clear Bill Gates on Epstein
The Gates Foundation released the results of its long-awaited review of Jeffrey Epstein ties last week, and the verdict, delivered by a law firm the foundation hired and paid, cleared founder Bill Gates of wrongdoing. Foundation chief executive Mark Suzman retained the Washington law firm WilmerHale in March. Gates and the foundation’s board signed off on the arrangement.
The SPLC Cash Machine: The Soros Connection
If there is one towering accomplishment of the Southern Poverty Law Center in its 55 years of existence, it’s bringing in money – lots of it. The Montgomery, Ala.-based, 501(c)(3) Leftist nonprofit group, dedicated to “dismantling” white supremacy, holds nearly $800 million in assets. Some of those funds, say federal prosecutors, were derived from financial crimes.
Would-Be Trump Assassin Right at Home at Soros-Funded ‘No Kings’ Protests
Cole Tomas Allen reportedly took part in No Kings rallies. Well-educated and socially integrated, he is not a marginalized outcast. Indeed, his views as expressed in his manifesto are representative of a large swath of the American electorate. A poll last year by the Network Contagion Research Institute revealed a terrifying trend. Nearly 55% of respondents identifying themselves as left-of-center would justify the assassination of Donald Trump.
The Tactical Purge of Eric Swalwell
The political demise of Eric Swalwell is being framed by the mainstream media as a long-overdue reckoning—a moment where the Democratic Party finally decided that personal scandals and questionable associations are disqualifying. But for those of us who monitor Congressional ethics, the timing and ferocity of this “internal cleanup” suggest a far more cynical reality. This isn’t about ethics; it’s about math.
It’s Time for Saudi Arabia to Make Whole Pensacola Terror Victims
From my op-ed in the April 14 Washington Times: President Trump can take a large share of the credit for a deeper, more fundamental shift in Middle East geopolitics than the Iran conflict. It’s the extraordinary transformation of the Saudi-U.S. alliance, which in large part helped bring us to this historic moment. It is now a matter of public record that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has been privately urging the president to destroy the Iranian regime.

On CNBC, Warren Buffett Says the Same Things for Which He Had Me Arrested
In a CNBC interview last week, Warren Buffett distanced himself from Bill Gates, his longtime friend whose foundation has enjoyed his largesse. In doing so, he affirmed the very point for which he had me arrested at the 2023 Berkshire Hathaway annual shareholders’ meeting. During my shareholder presentation, I cited Buffett’s “philanthropic” partnership with Gates, asserting that it posed a reputational risk to the company because of Gates’ relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.
‘No Kings:’ Media Ignores Soros Funding and Weird Agenda
Yesterday, the streets of our nation’s capital and major cities were once again filled with the “No Kings” protests. To the casual observer—or the viewer of any mainstream news broadcast—it appeared to be a spontaneous, grassroots eruption of protest of the “authoritarian” Trump. Instead, it was orchestrated by far-left professional organizers who seek to destabilize our institutions under the guise of defending them. The media coverage was predictably sycophantic.
Soros, Gates & Zuckerberg Fund College Tuition for Illegal Immigrants
If one issue unites the Left more than any other, it is immigration. The prospect of unlimited entry and residence from abroad, especially the Third World, excites their utopian impulses. The Open Society Foundations, funded by multibillionaire George Soros, drives this advocacy. National Legal and Policy Center described last May the extent of OSF financial support for a huge nonprofit network dedicated to promoting unauthorized mass migration.
Bill Gates and Warren Buffett’s Giving Pledge Hits ‘Hard Times’
It looks like my instincts were right. Now even the New York Times is taking a critical look at the so-called Giving Pledge, administered by the Gates Foundation, whereby billionaires promise to give away their fortunes.
Opinion | Why Would the SEC Silence Shareholders?
Markets work best when businesses are guided by owners. By Steven M. Rothstein and Peter Flaherty Paul Atkins in Washington, Feb. 12. Win McNamee/Getty Images We head nonprofit organizations concerned with corporate governance and policy and are often on opposite sides of important issues. But we agree on this: When shareholders’ voices are silenced, our capital markets lose accountability. The system becomes more political, not less.
Bill Gates’ Evolving Epstein Explanations: No Wonder Warren Buffett Had Me Arrested
In 2023, my microphone was cut off and I was arrested at the Berkshire Hathaway shareholders’ meeting with Warren Buffett in the chair after I uttered the name of Jeffrey Epstein while citing the reputational risk to the company posed by Buffett’s close identification with Bill Gates. About half of the Gates Foundation assets have come from Buffett. It looks like I was onto something.
San Diego Padres Breakout MLB Prospects For 2026
BA Grade/Risk: 50/High Adjusted Grade: 35 Track Record: Musgrove was drafted as a pitcher in 2023 after a standout two-way career at NAIA Mobile in Alabama. The Padres signed him for $175,000, and he had Tommy John surgery shortly after signing. He was on the shelf for all of 2024 and made his pro debut in 2025 with Low-A Lake Elsinore. Across 14 appearances and 20.1 innings, Musgrove compiled a 5.40 ERA and collected 26 strikeouts.

Top 25 College Baseball Freshmen For 2026
No team in the country has had a more hectic fall than Tennessee given former coach Tony Vitello’s move to the majors, but the Volunteers are in great hands with Josh Elander now at the helm. Appenzeller was the crown jewel of Vitello’s final recruiting class, and he is in line to log meaningful innings in 2026 after drawing legitimate top two-round draft interest and opting to honor his commitment to the Vols.

Soros-Funded Protest Groups Fan Flames of Anti-ICE Violence
In November, I wrote that the left is awaiting an event that will allow them to instigate widespread political violence. I theorized that because debt-laden Western economies hadn’t seen a downturn since 2008, the next economic crisis might provide the opportunity. But when billionaires like George Soros and Neville Singham provide you with a bottomless pit of money for organization and agitation, why wait for such an unpredictable event? Confronting ICE appears to be the ticket.

Listed at 6-foot-4 and 245 pounds, Howell is plenty physical with big-time arm strength.
