Crocodile Dundee’s filming locations, from the man who found them Original
Forty years ago, the film Crocodile Dundee catapulted Kakadu into the international spotlight. Linda Kozlowski, a relatively unknown US actor, played the role of journalist, Sue Charlton, and while she discovered that the story of Mick’s severed leg might have been exaggerated slightly, she fell for both the man and the remarkable Kakadu landscape.

By Abby Proch, Editor Over the last 40 years, 3D printing as an alternative manufacturing method has been quietly gathering momentum. Despite the rise of 3D printing, also known as additive manufacturing (AM), it has yet to present itself as a viable alternative to time-tested methods, in part because it just can’t keep up with the pace. Seurat Technologies is hoping to change that with its "area printing" method.

Movement - Definitive Edition - Record Collector Magazine
A rough draft of future greatness, New Order’s 1981 debut has never quite shaken off the tragic context surrounding its creation. Still grieving from the suicide of singer Ian Curtis, the surviving members of Joy Division were also fighting bitterly with producer Martin Hannett, by now a serious drug casualty who made his contempt for the new group’s raw talents very plain. Movement is a transitional album from an uncertain band whose morale was at rock bottom.

Autobiography Audiobook | Audible.com
Would you consider the audio edition of Autobiography to be better than the print version? Yes. When the reader is engaging it adds to the experience as opposed to slogging through just to digest the story. What did you like best about this story? The way he tells his story. And it is his story and not necessarily the story of The Smiths. While I would have enjoyed more details about the creation of his music I know that there are plenty of books that deal with just that.

Sit Back and Hear Hooky's Tales ...
An enjoyable tale of a legendary time and place, from a master story-teller — former bassist of Joy Division & New Order, club owner, DJ, author, and all around wild man Hooky. Unfortunately, unlike his second book Unknown Pleasures: Inside Joy Division, you can tell that Hooky hasn't yet quite perfected the art of translating his oral story-telling skills and wickedly brilliant humor to the written page.

But Peter Hook’s new book The Hacienda: The Inside Story of Britain’s Most Notorious Nightclub is a cautionary tale of a different sort. In fact, it has a second sub-title, “How Not To Run A Club.” A caveat: I’m not a fan of Joy Division, New Order, acid house or rave music.
