What was your first job as a journalist?
Writing news for a consumer tech site during the web 1.0 bubble. I've been at this for a while.
Who's your favorite fictional journalist?

How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
On-topic.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Other than the bog-standard "find another line of work," establish clear work/life boundaries and stick to them.
When's the best time to pitch you?
Any time during east coast business hours.
