CO 2 physiological forcing mitigates climate-driven water limitation on vegetation growth and carbon uptake
Abstract Climate-driven increases in water limitation are expected to threaten ecosystem functioning and services. However, the extent to which ecosystems are water-limited remains uncertain due to the interplay of external CO2 physiological forcing and internal adaptation mechanisms.
Integrative single-cell and bulk transcriptomic analyses identify a microglia-associated NAGLU signature linked to disulfidptosis-associated transcriptional patterns after spinal cord injury
Abstract Background: Spinal cord injury (SCI) induces profound neuroinflammatory responses and extensive cellular remodeling within the injured spinal cord. Disulfidptosis, a recently identified form of regulated cell death associated with disulfide stress, has been implicated in cellular stress responses and tissue injury. However, the transcriptional characteristics of disulfidptosis-related genes (DRGs) and their associations with the cellular microenvironment of SCI remain poorly understood.

Insect hormone PTTH regulates lifespan through temporal and spatial activation of NF-κB signaling during metamorphosis
Abstract The prothoracicotropic hormone (PTTH) is a well-known neuropeptide that regulates insect metamorphosis (the juvenile-to-adult transition) by inducing the biosynthesis of steroid hormones. However, the role of PTTH in adult physiology and longevity is largely unexplored. Here, we show that Ptth loss-of-function mutants are long-lived and exhibit increased resistance to oxidative stress in Drosophila.
Zinc phosphate glass microspheres promoted mineralization and expression of BMP2 in MC3T3‐E1 cells
1 INTRODUCTION Tissue engineering benefits from the successful application of biocompatible and degradable scaffolds, functional molecules, and cell therapy. Phosphate glass has been studied and shown desirable properties for bone repair.

Ptth regulates lifespan through innate immunity pathway in Drosophila
Abstract The prothoracicotropic hormone (Ptth) is well-known for its important role in controlling insect developmental timing and body size by promoting the biosynthesis and release of ecdysone. However, the role of Ptth in adult physiology is largely unexplored. Here we show that Ptth null mutants (both males and females) show extended lifespan and healthspan, and exhibit increased resistance to oxidative stress.

Maternal High-Fat Diet Programs Offspring Liver Steatosis in a Sexually Dimorphic Manner in Association with Changes in Gut Microbial Ecology in Mice
The ‘Developmental Origins of Health and Disease (DoHAD)’ hypothesis provides a paradigm that links life-long risk of chronic diseases to early-life nutritional and environmental exposures. Developmental programming contributes to alterations in disease risk throughout life, beginning at the earliest stages of development, and is prominent during specific developmental windows.
