Abstract Objectives: Evidence on proton pump inhibitor (PPI) exposure and Clostridioides difficile infection (CDI) remains difficult to interpret because published estimates arise from heterogeneous target outcomes, risk sets, exposure contrasts, time structures, and ascertainment procedures. We evaluated whether a result-specific outcome-observability framework could make these differences explicit without using effect direction or statistical significance as classification criteria.

Abstract Introduction: Spleen tyrosine kinase (SYK) is a non-receptor tyrosine kinase involved in immune signaling and has been implicated in tumor-intrinsic resistance to DNA-damaging therapies. Although SYK activity has been associated with poor outcomes in triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC), its role in resistance to combined radiotherapy and immune checkpoint blockade remains unclear.
