Try as I might, I still can’t wrap my head around what happened basketball-wise, to uncoil it from a lifetime of Knicks-fan cynicism and hoop-gods cruelty, but the energy around fair Gotham felt far more special than even winning the almighty “chip” could account for. Can this be our forever-ever?
