Unearthing Hereditary Angioedema in India—Epidemiology From Chandigarh and Reasi, India

To the Editor, Hereditary angioedema (HAE) is an uncommon disorder characterised by recurrent non-pruritic swellings [1-4]. There is a paucity of literature on the epidemiology of HAE from the Asia-Pacific region, including India. In this study, we aimed to delineate the epidemiological characteristics of HAE from 2 regions (viz., Chandigarh and Reasi). We examined the medical records of patients with HAE diagnosed between 1994 and 2023 at our Institute.
