A world-first research document about to be released has detailed how Australia's famous winegrowing regions will be forced to adapt due to climate change.

At more than 91 years of age, Norm Marston is almost certainly Australia's oldest active regional newspaper owner and editor. He started work at The Courier in Mount Barker in the Adelaide Hills in October 1952 on his 24th birthday, and has been with the paper ever since. "I think once you're in it, you can't get out of it," he said. Most Tuesday nights, he can still be found on the printing plant floor, checking on the newspaper his family has owned for more than 60 years.
