Dear Editor, Myelofibrosis (MF) is the clinically most severe subcategory of myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPN), which can present as primary MF (PMF), or develop from the progression of polycythemia vera (PV) and essential thrombocythemia (ET; post-PV MF [PPV-MF] or post-ET MF [PET-MF]) [1]. Prominent clinical features in MF include bone marrow fibrous tissue hyperplasia, anemia, splenomegaly, and constitutional symptoms [1].
