4. Discussion 4.1. Spatial Variability of Rainfall-Runoff Quality Characteristics Comparison of the pollutant concentration of the underlying surface of rainfall runoff in this study with that of typical cities in six geographical divisions of China (Table 2) revealed that the pollutant concentration of rainfall runoff in Taizhou City was equivalent to that in Xiamen City in East China.
