Thermally and electronically triggered hydrogen shift within a CHCH 2 species via surface-assisted hydrogen tunneling
Abstract Hydrogen shift along carbon skeletons plays a key role in isomerization and rearrangement reactions in organic synthesis and hydrocarbon catalysis. Here, we demonstrate precise control over hydrogen shift within a bistable CHCH2 species formed on a Cu(110) surface, using a single-molecule approach via scanning tunneling microscopy.
Liquid-liquid phase separation-associated gene networks link EMT and ferroptosis to define a PDGFRB-centered prognostic signature in bladder cancer
Abstract Introduction: Bladder cancer (BLCA) remains a formidable clinical challenge due to its high recurrence rate and complex molecular landscape. The integrated roles of liquid-liquid phase separation (LLPS), epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT), and ferroptosis in BLCA progression remain largely unresolved. Methods: We integrated bulk RNA-seq, single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq), and spatial transcriptomics to develop a 5-gene prognostic signature.
Frontiers | Effectiveness of enhanced supervision, health education and environmental improvement interventions for injuries among children aged 6-17 in Shijiazhuang
Abstract Background: Injuries represent a significant public health concern, ranking as the primary cause of mortality among children in China. The 5E strategy is one of the most frequently employed strategies for injury prevention, yet the efficacy of a single prevention strategy is often eclipsed by that of a comprehensive intervention strategy.
Association of age at menopause with cardiovascular disease and mortality: insights from NHANES and a clinical cohort
Abstract Background: Age at menopause is closely associated with cardiovascular disease and mortality, whereas the underlying mechanisms remain unclear. This study employed mediation analysis to explore potential pathways underlying this association. Methods: Natural postmenopausal women were identified from the NHANES database to assess the association between age at menopause and cardiovascular disease and mortality. Mediation analysis was performed to identify potential mediators.

Multifaceted Role of Nanocomposite Hydrogels in Diabetic Wound Healing: Enhanced Biomedical Applications and Detailed Molecular Mechanisms
Multifaceted Role of Nanocomposite Hydrogels in Diabetic Wound Healing: Enhanced Biomedical Applications and Detailed Molecular Mechanisms The complex microenvironment of diabetic wounds, which is characterized by persistent hyperglycemia, excessive inflammatory responses, and hypoxic conditions, significantly impedes the efficacy of traditional hydrogels.
The Consistency of Subjective and Objective Factors Influencing Walking Path Choice around Rail Transit Stations
1. Introduction Over the past few decades, the rapid urbanization and high-density development of major cities in China have led to significant urban expansion and population growth, which, in turn, have caused a dramatic increase in transportation demand [1]. The widespread use of motor vehicles has further resulted in traffic congestion, environmental pollution, and urban sprawl.
