When teenagers arrive at the LC Valley Youth Resource Center, they often beeline to the multiple fridges and pantries for a snack before settling in the living room to commiserate, play games and do homework. The fridges are filled based on grocery requests from the teenagers who spend time there.

Dr. Caroline Rolofson, says she’s excited to build OB-GYN services in the Lewiston-Clarkston Valley Patients may soon be able to start scheduling appointments with TriState Health’s newest obstetrics and gynecology provider. Dr. Caroline Rolofson, D.O., is already providing on-call coverage for midwife deliveries at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center alongside Dr. Lindsay Kern. “We’re doing kind of two weeks on, two weeks off,” Rolofson said.

Aug. 7—On a late July morning on a rocky slope near Spokane, Craig Madsen is watching his goats attack snowberry bushes, hawthorn and Oregon grape. Madsen owns a company that rents goats for a variety of regional jobs. Today, that job is to remove brush that could act as a carrier fuel for wildfires and threaten a nearby home. The homeowners use a tractor to clear fuel in other areas, Madsen said, but that doesn't work on the hill.
