Author Correction: The transcription factor TCF-1 initiates the differentiation of T FH cells during acute viral infection
Correction to: Nature Immunology https://doi.org/10.1038/ni.3229, published online 27 July 2015. In the version of the article initially published, there were labeling errors in the “CXCR5”, “Tim3” and “Granzyme B” panels of Fig. 1c (the data itself were correct). The original and corrected panel are shown below as Fig. 1. This notice serves to amend the error. Fig. 1 Original and corrected Fig. 1c. About this article Xu, L., Cao, Y., Xie, Z. et al.
Retarding moisture-induced chemical degradation of Yttrium Tellurides by tailoring grain boundary chemistry
Abstract Grain boundary engineering has been extensively applied to improve thermoelectric performance, but its potential to enhance chemical stability remains underexplored. Here, we demonstrate that modifying grain boundary chemistry can effectively suppress the chemical degradation of Y2Te3 under ambient conditions.
Atomic-scale regulation of ion motion and phonon scattering: ALD-driven interface engineering for stabilizing β-Zn 4 Sb 3
Abstract INTRODUCTION RESULTS DISCUSSION MATERIALS AND METHODS Acknowledgments Supplementary Materials REFERENCES Information & Authors Metrics & Citations View Options References Figures Tables Media Share Abstract Metal ion migration under operational gradients triggers irreversible decomposition and performance collapse in thermoelectric (TE) materials. β-Zn4Sb3 has high TE performance but suffers from severe zinc (Zn) ion migration under an external field.
Intravenous administration of an engineered AAV9-gene-silencing vector suppresses human SOD1 and extends survival in an ALS mouse model
Abstract Adeno-associated virus (AAV)-mediated gene silencing offers a promising strategy for achieving durable therapeutic effects with a single administration. Mutations in the human superoxide dismutase 1 (hSOD1) gene, inherited in an autosomal dominant manner, lead to motor neuron degeneration in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS)—a fatal neurodegenerative disease with no effective treatment.
Hybrid constitutive law with machine learning for sintering of advanced ceramics
Abstract Predictive simulation of sintering-induced distortion remains challenging for ceramic components subjected to gravity and mechanical constraint. Classical constitutive sintering laws reproduce free densification reliably but lack the flexibility required to accurately capture stress-driven deformation within finite-element (FE) frameworks when calibrated solely from dilatometer data.
Cumulative visceral fat burden and progression to advanced cardiovascular kidney metabolic syndrome in Chinese middle-aged and older adults
Abstract Visceral adiposity is increasingly recognized as a key contributor to cardiovascular–kidney–metabolic (CKM) syndrome, yet longitudinal evidence regarding both baseline visceral fat burden and cumulative metabolic exposure remains limited. The metabolic score for visceral fat (METS-VF) is a validated surrogate marker reflecting visceral adiposity and metabolic dysfunction.

Long-term comparative analysis of AAV9-mediated gene replacement therapies for spinal muscular atrophy in mice
|
Abstract Spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) results from a deficiency of the survival motor neuron (SMN) protein. Zolgensma, an adeno-associated virus (AAV)-based SMN1 gene-replacement therapy, is approved for SMA, though its long-term efficacy and safety remain uncertain. This study compares a Zolgensma-like benchmark vector with a 2nd-generation vector featuring a codon-optimized SMN1 transgene under the control of an endogenous SMN1 promoter.

A machine learning approach to finite element modeling of sintering deformation using densification data
1 INTRODUCTION Sintering is a critical process in advanced ceramics manufacturing, during which powder compacts are consolidated into dense components via diffusion-driven mass transport at elevated temperatures.1, 2 Accurate prediction of sintering deformation is essential for the ceramic industry to ensure dimensional stability, minimize defects, and optimize processing conditions, thereby reducing both energy consumption and production costs.

Enhancing humidity resistance of nickel-rich layered cathode materials by low water-soluble CaF2 coating
Enhancing humidity resistance of nickel-rich layered cathode materials by low water-soluble CaF2 coating† A low water-solubility but hydrophilic coating of CaF2 is demonstrated to be effective in mitigating the susceptibility of nickel-rich cathodes to moisture and even water. The ability of the cathode to resist water erosion is not inherently linked to either hydrophobicity or hydrophilicity, but lies in robust chemical bonding within the protective layer exhibiting low water solubility.

Active Diluent‐Anion Synergy Strategy Regulating Nonflammable Electrolytes for High‐Efficiency Li Metal Batteries
Introduction Conventional Li-ion batteries (LIBs) with graphite anodes have been approaching their limit of energy density (around 300 Wh kg−1) in recent years, which are hard to meet the demands for batteries with higher energy density.1 Using high-capacity Li metal anodes (3860 mAh g−1) and high-voltage cathodes instead of graphite anodes (372 mAh g−1) to assemble Li metal batteries (LMBs) is a promising method to improve energy density (≈500 Wh kg−1).2 However, the development of LMBs is...
Synergy Assessment of River Health Values from a Symbiotic Perspective: A Case Study of the Yellow River Basin in China
1. Introduction Like the arteries of the earth, rivers are a source of life and civilization, forming an important part of the natural resources and ecosystems that provide a necessary basis for human survival. In the 1970s, the concept of river health was first proposed in the United States [1]. A healthy river is defined as one that achieves a balance or compromise between socio-economic, ecological, and environmental values and whose social and natural functions are developed in harmony [2].

Nonrelativistic Spin-Momentum Coupling in Antiferromagnetic Twisted Bilayers
Abstract Spin-momentum coupling, which depends strongly on the relativistic effect of heavy elements in solids, is the basis of many phenomena in spintronics. In this Letter, we theoretically predict nonrelativistic spin-momentum coupling in two-dimensional materials. By proposing magnetic symmetry requirements for spin splitting in two-dimensional systems, we find that a simple twisting operation can realize nonrelativistic spin splitting in antiferromagnetic bilayers.
