Many published guidelines, although scientifically efficient, their application in developing countries may be limited, thus establishing a revised versions for regions with limited-resource countries will be more appropriate. Adapting consensus to uniform the diagnosis and management of epilepsy in developing countries will inevitably improve the care for people with epilepsy in these regions.
