On Monday, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis unveiled a ruthless new gerrymander designed to convert the Sunshine State’s House delegation from 20 Republicans and eight Democrats to 24 Republicans and just four Democrats. But given the prevailing winds of 2026, not all of those potential gains — nor the safety of several existing GOP incumbents — would be assured this November.
