FARMVILLE, Va. – The University of Richmond women's soccer team battled back late in the match to earn a 1-1 draw Thursday night at Longwood. With the result, the Spiders conclude non-conference action at 3-2-3 on the year, while the Lancers sit at 3-4-2. How It Happened The Lancers grabbed the lead in the 34th minute when Meghan Piazza converted inside the box off a build-up that started with Sam Fischer and Madison Fitzpatrick. Richmond went into halftime trailing 1-0 without a shot on goal.
