AUSTIN (KXAN) — Showers and thunderstorms will come in two rounds today. The first will be this morning with the rain moving into the western half of the Hill Country. The second will happen during the mid-/late-afternoon continuing tonight. The Flood Watch remains in effect until Monday evening. Additional rain totals of 1″ to 2″ are forecast with higher amounts in isolated areas. Concerning today, the Storm Prediction Center is forecasting a Marginal Risk (level 1 of 5) for severe thunderstorms.
